Communicating in Writing (Writing)
The Learning Outcomes for the Communicating in Writing Core IMPACTS area:
- Students will communicate effectively in writing, demonstrating clear organization and structure, using appropriate grammar and writing conventions.
- Students will appropriately acknowledge the use of materials from original sources.
- Students will adapt their written communications to purpose and audience.
- Students will analyze and draw informed inferences from written texts.
- Students must complete one of the following courses to satisfy the Communicating in Writing area:

Note: Effective Fall 2012, for freshmen entering the University System of Georgia system Fall 2012, students who have earned 30 hours but have not completed Communicating in Writing must enroll in the next course necessary to make progress toward completing this Area in every semester in which they take classes.
