Graduate Stand-Alone Certificate in Systems Engineering and Architecting

The Certificate in Systems Engineering and Architecting is a 12-credt hour program offered by the College of Engineering and the College of Lifetime Learning. This certificate is for graduate students and post-baccalaureate professionals studying on a non-degree basis.

It is designed to accelerate the development of skilled system architects capable of envisioning, communicating, and executing technical solutions for mission-critical operations in defense, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

The curriculum equips professionals with advanced, interdisciplinary training in modern systems engineering methodologies. Through a combination of core coursework and electives, students gain leadership capabilities and technical expertise to drive innovation, meet customer mission objectives, and fulfill business commitments.

Courses emphasize hands-on learning through application-based exercises, labs, case studies, and collaborative projects, ensuring students can apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
