Georgia Tech Professional Education offers industry-specific courses and certificate programs that combine academic rigor with hands-on, practice training in demand by industry. Available both online and on-site, programs are offered in more than 15 subject areas such as data analytics, cybersecurity, defense technology, engineering, leadership, manufacturing, occupational safety and health, project management, and supply chain and logistics. The Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (Atlanta and Savannah) continuously provides Georgia’s educators with opportunities to learn within real-world contexts. These experiences can be transferred to classrooms and encourage excitement about STEM, STEAM, computer science, robotics, and entrepreneurship and innovation. Training is provided for teachers with new content knowledge and pedagogical approaches that will engage their students in active hands-on STEM learning, while promoting awareness of STEM careers.
