Minor in Learning

The Minor in Learning is an interdisciplinary undergraduate minor offered jointly by the College of Lifetime Learning and the School of Psychology.  Students of any Georgia Tech major are eligible to earn this minor.  The minor equips students to understand how people learn across their lifespan, from cognitive and developmental foundations to the mechanisms of memory, and from technological innovations to societal contexts that shape education. Students explore the science behind obtaining, retaining, and applying knowledge in diverse settings: classrooms, workplaces, digital environments, and informal learning spaces. Students completing the minor will be prepared to evaluate and design effective learning experiences and bring evidence-based insights to any field, from healthcare and business to law and beyond.
