Undergraduate Embedded Certificate in Global Engagement
The Global Engagement Certificate is offered jointly by the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the School of Modern Languages and builds on students’ international experiences. Students can customize their certificate focus through their specific selection of internationally focused courses and/or by choosing to include foreign language study. As a result of completing this certificate, students will develop essential knowledge, skills, and experience that are beneficial to all career paths.

This certificate is available to all undergraduate students at Georgia Tech. It requires a minimum of 12 credit hours. All courses used in the certificate must be completed with a grade of 'C' or higher (if offered for letter-grade). Students must complete the required number of courses or credit hours from groups A, B, and C. As this is a multidisciplinary certificate, courses must be taken from more than once academic unit, and at least three (3) credit hours must be taken outside of a student's major field.

Or, any course(s) totaling at least six (6) credit hours that require(s) a student to travel outside of the United States for the entirety or near entirety of the course(s). Virtual experiences will not be eligible to fulfill this requirement. A student who attends Georgia Tech as an international student may not satisfy the overseas requirement in their home country.
